While the special effects are undeniably top-notch, this nine-part series was a hit that reached way beyond its gaming fanbase in large part due to the crisp, emotional storytelling, particularly with its two-handers. Go to Full Review

I like that The Last of Us isn’t consumed with telling stories about the powerful but instead is focused on regular people who are just trying to make it through this mess. Go to Full Review

Fusion Pulse N @FusionPulseNetwork 11h The Last of Us Season 1 gets a perfect 5/5 from me. Honestly, this show was literally perfect and one of the greatest video game adaptations ever made. The emotional storytelling, acting, world-building, and atmosphere were all incredible from beginning to end. Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey did an amazing job bringing Joel and Ellie to life, and their chemistry carried the entire series. What made the show so special was how grounded and emotional everything felt. The infected were terrifying, the world looked destroyed and hopeless, and every episode felt meaningful. The action scenes were intense, but the emotional moments were what truly made the show stand out. The series also stayed respectful to the games while still expanding the story in ways that felt natural and powerful. Fans of the games got so many iconic moments brought to life perfectly. Overall, The Last of Us Season 1 was emotional, intense, heartbreaking, and beautifully made. A near flawless season of television. See more rangoo7xYT T @RT70301702 May 22 The Last of Us’ Season 1 is one of the best seasons of TV I’ve ever watched. It perfectly mixes survival, horror, emotion, and humanity into one unforgettable experience. The infected are terrifying and make every dangerous moment feel intense, but what makes this series special is that it’s much more than zombies. It’s about love, loss, survival, and the connections people build in a broken world. The storytelling is incredible, the acting is amazing, and every episode feels meaningful. This season made me feel sadness, fear, hope, and attachment to the characters in a way very few shows ever have. An emotional masterpiece from beginning to end. I've reviewed separately for each season so make sure to check the other too, in season 2 See more Michan . @RT45861834 May 18 Loved. Went right into actions no slow rising went straight into it. Although not a lot of “monster” showing i find it so fascinating that the story just flows and keeps getting amazing See more g4Br13L P @RT91224275 May 3 A primeira temporada é muito boa, tanto para quem jogou a obra original e para quem não jogou. Mas no geral uma ótima adaptação See more Mafran M @Maffiee May 2 An absolute must watch See more Max C @RT32446652 Apr 27 The last of us season one had a lot of great elements, and was almost an excellent show. Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey both were excellent, and the story was overall good. No spoilers but the climax at the end of season one was great. The only thing that kept the first season from being a solid 5 stars were the woke elements, like the character Kathleen, which severely detracted from the show. Overall I would recommend watching season 1, just be prepared for an unfortunate degree of woke nonsense. See more Read all reviews
