For most of its 15-hour stretch, the season remains compulsively watchable because it understands and trusts the grind of the job to generate momentum. But the writing isn’t as sharp this time, and the slippage is hard to ignore once it starts.

81%. 4/22/26. This season was 4th of July so some crazy fireworks accidents, sunburns, etc. They also have the computer system shut down so they go all to paper. The bulk of it is around Robie's character going on leave and a bike trip after the day. Season was good but just not at the same level as the first season. Some storylines were overdramatized. Still just love the plot of this show. Excited for season 3

Writing this review as a "general audience" view. An emotional and tender experience and a must watch for anybody who's somewhat interested in understanding medicine, the people working medicine and their struggles. There isnt a show like The Pitt that can so accurately depict that every one is a "main character" in their own life, that is to say, that everyone in the Pitt is struggling, battling, fighting something they personally have. I absolutely love the character writing between the whole cast and their differing opinions on the same case. This show really creates a space in my heart for people working in any kind of hospital. 9.5/10 :)
