Petros T @PetrosTserpelis 01/26/2024 (both seasons) Certain episodes are a bit lacking but at its best it delivers an array of memorable characters, some great humour, highly quotable dialogues and more importantly its own personality and trademarks. Atkinson is a pleasure to watch as always and is supported by a fine cast from which David Haig arguably stands out, fannying about willy-nilly with his hoity-toity arse on the line. The occasional social commentary is of note but the wordplays, misunderstandings and gags are the heart of the show. See more Dave S 08/23/2021 Didnt like this series . Rowan atkinson was quite good but the supporting cast not great . See more Andre T 09/18/2020 The British comedy Thin Blue Line is much less well known than it deserves to be and, in my view, should be up there with the likes of Fawlty Towers or Dad's Army. Inspector Fowler (Rowan Atkinson) is brilliantly awkward, and Inspector Grim's rants are legendary comic creations worth enjoying in their own right. The episodes now feel slightly of their time, and some of the humour may be lost on those born after 1990. Overall a classic of British comedy which I have watched again and again.
