The production has a familiar Netflix style, relying on moody visuals and dramatic music, sometimes filling in with recreated scenes when original footage isn’t available. The real strength of the film lies in the interviews with people close to the case, including family members of the suspect and investigators. However, the documentary ends inconclusively, which feels a bit anticlimactic after focusing so heavily on Arthur Allen as the prime suspect throughout. I wish this documentary didn't feel the need to have CONSTANT music playing in the back ground. It's meant to build suspense and it does at times but even when people are giving their testimonials it's going on and on. LOL! It makes it feel like one very long trailer.
