Smart, funny, charming, well written, with likable characters and lots of heart. Think "Blinded By the Light" meets "Derry Girls."

This show was so fun to watch! I adored all of the different characters and how the story was told. I wish it was longer than six episodes because I could have watched so much more from all of the characters. It's a show my partner and I watched and enjoyed together!

Really charming. loved getting to know each of the characters. The original songs were great as were the covers (Creep and 9 to 5 both went OFF)... and this show really made me want to be in a punk band.

Really loved this series! The cross-section of religion and popular culture could apply to any religion. The devout and the not-so devout and everything in-between are represented here. And of course all the leads are FEMALE!!! We need more!

Love the songs and the covers! Can't wait for another season.

We Are Lady Parts (TV 2021): Musical comedy. Five young British Muslim women form a punk band. Lead character gets stage fright because what she's doing is so out of character. The whole show is. These are real, believable people, all different, breaking stereotypes. A-

I am disappointed with how this show is not more popular and accessible. I am not sure how it is for other people but from my personal experience of living in Poland, I do not have much acquaintance with the Muslim community. Thus, my vision is mostly built on its representation on news or reports like DW or Vice which are mainly about the issues. Of course, they are important, but how amazing it is to see representatives of the Muslim community laughing, joking, or quarreling with their parents. It seems silly but it makes them more real and relatable. I think the show balances well on commenting on different social issues but at the same not fully focusing on them. Because even if to digress from such social commentary you just have a very funny sitcom with an interesting story and relatable heroes. I hope to see this show continue and I would be happy if more shows like this appear.

Amazingly good. Need more of this.

I fell into this season by accident. But it really caught my attention, as the father of five Muslim girls. I loved every episode. It really spoke to the lives of young Muslims in the West.

Just binge watched the first season. Great music. Superb acting. Legit cliff-hangers at the end of each episode. Can't wait for season two.
