A revival of the hit docuseries, which originally ran on ABC from 2004 through 2010, "Wife Swap" follows two families from different backgrounds as they trade homes and spouses for two weeks. The spouses at first must follow each other's detailed instructions on how to parent, socialize and run the household, then they are allowed to impose their own rules and run things as they please. The families face contemporary hot-button issues such as politics, classism, gender and race, hoping to find common ground. At the end of the experiment, both couples meet for an often-heated discussion, assessing each other's life choices and the effect the experiences had on their families.
