This docuseries is a very shocking, interesting and extremely crucial discussion surrounding health and wellness. Go to Full Review

You Are What You Eat: A Twin Experiment shouldn't be a source of medical or nutritional advice, but it may get you thinking more about some of the foods you're consuming. Go to Full Review

...another in a long line of Netflix’s alleged documentaries wrapped in a glossy package. It’s also just bad storytelling and argument. Go to Full Review

scott F @RT06665851 Apr 27 The "identical twins" premise is compelling, but the series is more about advocacy thank science. The bias is overt, relying on alarmist environmental claims and sensationalized segments (such as the arousal testing). From a health standpoint, the show selectively highlights vegan supporting data while glossing over significant issues like the loss of muscle mass in that same group. By comparing a monitored plant-based diet to a mediocre omnivorous one, the "results" feel engineered rather than discovered. This series is simply a commercial for a specific ideology instead of a balanced documentary. See more Miranda N @Miranda742 Dec 23 You are what you eat documentary it’s so bad. The information they provided is outdated, the whole experiment it’s clearly biased and basically it’s full of propaganda. I do NOT recommend this
See more Rushi P @RT93650561 05/15/2025 Worth watching the series and hoping that creators will continue making these kind of informative shows See more Ryiah B @RT70200470 01/19/2025 Eat more vegetables and fruit, exercise, and cut back on meat consumption, as it negatively impacts both the environment and our bodies. However, it’s important to acknowledge that making these changes can be challenging due to systemic factors. Watch the documentary and take from it what resonates with you. See more M G @RT13213449 01/09/2025 As a professional health coach, I cannot recommend this series. There is a lot of misleading information. They don't even mention sugar which is one of the top poisons destroying health. If this study was done honestly, they would have fed the omnivores grass fed beef, and pastured chicken/eggs instead of processed turkey sausage. If you really want to know how to be healthy, buy the book Metabolical by Robert Lustig. There is an audio version. The series must have been sponsored by the sugar industry. A lot of the information about the gut microbiome, and diabetes was outdated. See more Norma J @RT76069965 12/28/2024 I'm really liking this docuseries so far. I've actually learned a few things I didn't already know, and though shocking, some of the topics discussed have been very eyeopening. I'm very curious to see what the results are.
