What to Know

Critics Consensus

Continuing to peek through the satirical façade of socialite life, Your Friends & Neighbors' second season digs itself into a deeper and richer character hole, where Hamm, Munn, and Marsden make like bandits and steal the show.

Ashe is the kind of fresh juice a second season needs, even if it ultimately leads things to a preposterously far-fetched climax. Go to Full Review

Sometimes, it’s OK to enjoy things that are meant to be enjoyed. That’s what Coop’s doing, that’s what Jon Hamm is doing, and in Season 2, we can join them. Go to Full Review

In Season 2, “Your Friends & Neighbors” gets more textured, showcasing a different level of affluence, the costs of lies and why wealthy white men, in particular, constantly fail upward. Go to Full Review

As sharply written and acted, and as blindingly beautiful to behold as Season 1, Jonathan Tropper’s social satire is both massive and mellow Go to Full Review

A S @inky.pinky.ponky0310603 19h I really like this TV show, the story, the acting, the dialogues, the comedy, the drama and pace are good. Well done. See more Jamie C @itsjamie 2d I have to say reading some of the review of season 2 made me hesitate and wait. Glad I could watch the series back to back over a week or so.. I'm surprised to say that what started as a "OK let's watch this season a bit just to confirm they're just riding S01's success" but ended up thinking - this is actually the superior season. It's got everything going for it, but mostly it's a show about people. and with mostly a great cast, and heart. the drama, suspense and other mechanisms are there to drive the interactions, observations and reactions - as well as the internal monologue we've come to expect from the show. Not sure if they've aged Jon Hamm for the show or if it's natural, but he delivers a much more believable version of a human being torn between worlds and realities. some good performances from the supporting cast, and Hoon Lee as Barney delivers once again. Can't remember anything where this man didn't shine through. looking forward to s03. well done. See more J T @UtahRondo 6d A step down from the previous season, but still worth the watch and entertaining. You do have to suspend your disbelief often because how could adults act so irrational and ridiculous. But it is a fun watch. See more Jeannette Y @JeanHome Jul 9 I think I’m sick of watching shows about absolutely filthy rich people complaining about their lives. But I’m torn because I like Jon Hamm. See more Nellie P @Polly572 Jul 8 First season was interesting. Stopped watching early in the second season because it evolved into manufactured rich people problems. See more Brian D @Brianwd2 Jul 5 78%. 6/4/26. I want to love this show it just doesn't grab you enough. I like the flashy lifestyle. Lots of parties in this season. Hamm doesn't do as much stealing. They try to manufacture a lot of drama and it gets too big toward the end of the season. See more Read all reviews
