Robert B. @RT25266349 2d Season 1 was great Season 2 was awful Too many unnecessary storylines See more Alyce M @almiller 3d John Hamm is a pleasure to watch, and I love the voice-over, but by the second season I weary of two main problems: 1) Why isn't he wearing a mask and gloves when he thieves and why does he assume there are no cameras in these houses? And he's chatting away with Elena during his thefts???? Stretches credulity. 2) Then there's this issue: the women seem to be characterized as "crazy." Mel, while likable at first, and sympathetic in her reasons for running off with Nick, grows more and more irritating, inluding her over-the-top peri-menopause experience that she can't shut up about, not to mention the big punch in the face. Sam, a woman scorned, frames Coop for murder out of some kind of weird revenge. Ali is billed as bipolar, and constantly up to wacky behavior. Oh, and the sex scenes all seem so gratuitious and formulaic. Nick, Barney, and the son are three of the most interesting characters.
