Academy Award winner Carmen Dragon built himself an incredible career as a musician. Dragon began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like "Mr. Winkle Goes to War" (1944), "The Strange Woman" (1946) and "Young Widow" (1946). His music also appeared in "Dishonored Lady" (1947) and "Out of the Blue" (1947). In the forties and the fifties, Dragon's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like the dramatic adaptation "The Time of Your Life" (1948) with James Cagney, the crime picture "Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye" (1950) with James Cagney and "Night Into Morning" (1951). His work was also in "The Law and the Lady" (1951) with Greer Garson and the Spencer Tracy drama "The People Against O'Hara" (1951). Dragon's music was also featured in the Van Johnson comedy "When in Rome" (1952), the drama "At Gunpoint" (1955) with Fred MacMurray and the Kevin McCarthy horror movie "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" (1956). His music was also featured in the crime drama "Go" (1999) with Katie Holmes. Dragon was most recently credited in the dramatic comedy "Slipstream" (2007) with Anthony Hopkins. In addition to his music, Dragon also appeared on-screen in "The In-Laws" (1979) with Peter Falk. Dragon was married to Eloise Marion Dragon and had five children. Dragon passed away in March 1984 at the age of 70.
