Curt Conway rose to fame as an actor, gracing the silver screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. Conway kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "A Double Life" (1947), the dramatic adaptation "Gentleman's Agreement" (1947) with Gregory Peck and the Yvonne De Carlo adventure "Casbah" (1948). He also appeared in the crime picture "Raw Deal" (1948) with Dennis O'Keefe, "A Woman's Secret" (1949) and the drama "The Lady Gambles" (1949) with Barbara Stanwyck. He kept working in film throughout the fifties and the sixties, starring in "The Goddess" (1958) with Kim Stanley, the dramatic adventure "Wind Across the Everglades" (1958) with Burl Ives and the Paul Newman dramatic adaptation "Hud" (1962). He also appeared in "Invitation to a Gunfighter" (1964). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "The Twilight Zone" (CBS, 1959-1964). He held additional roles in television including a part on "Peyton Place" (ABC, 1964-69). Additionally, he appeared on the television special "Bachelor at Law" (CBS, 1972-73). Conway last acted in "Maurie" (1973) with Bernie Casey. Conway passed away in April 1974 at the age of 59.
