Gianni Ferrio

Over the duration of his Hollywood career, Gianni Ferrio produced music for multiple Hollywood productions. Ferrio began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like the western "Wanted" (1968) with Giuliano Gemma, the Ernest Borgnine western "A Bullet For Sandoval" (1970) and the action flick "A Man Called Sledge" (1970) with James Garner. His music also appeared in the drama "I Recuperanti" (1970) with Antonio Lunardi and "Il Maschio Ruspante" (1971) with Giuliano Gemma. An actor as well as a musician, Ferrio played a part in the drama "The Fiances" (1963) with Carlo Cabrini. In the seventies, Ferrio's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like "Don't Turn the Other Cheek" (1973) with Eli Wallach, the Daniel Olbrychski dramatic period piece "Roma Rivuole Cesare" (1973) and the Mariangela Melato comedy "La Poliziotta" (1974). His work was also in the comedy "Il Padrone e l'Operaio" (1975) with Renato Pozzetto, the western "One Silver Dollar" (1975) with Montgomery Wood and "Classe Mistra" (1977). Ferrio's music was also featured in "Come Perdere una Moglie e Trovare un'Amante" (1978), "L' Infermiera di Notte" (1978) and "L' Insequante va in Collegio" (1978). His music was also featured in "Dio Li Fa Poi li Accoppia" (1983), "Tex and the Lord of the Deep" (1985) with Giuliano Gemma and "Same Old Song" (1999). Ferrio's music was most recently used in the Brad Pitt hit action film "Inglourious Basterds" (2009).
