Actor Grant Thompson was most commonly known for his roles in television dramas. Thompson started his acting career landing roles in films, such as the sports comedy "Bring It On" (2000) with Kirsten Dunst and "The Dish" (2001). In the early 2000s, he shifted his entertainment career towards more dramatic roles, appearing on "Push, Nevada" (ABC, 2002-03), "The O.C." (Fox, 2002-07) and "Close to Home" (CBS, 2005-07). Thompson took on film roles in more recent years, appearing in the Will Ferrell blockbuster comedic sports movie "Blades of Glory" (2007) and the Nicolas Cage box office smash action film "National Treasure: Book of Secrets" (2007).
