Jon Huffman was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Huffman kickstarted his acting career appearing on various dramas, including "Murder, She Wrote" (CBS, 1984-1996), "Quantum Leap" (NBC, 1988-1993) and "Sisters" (1990-96). He also appeared in "Homefront" (ABC, 1991-93). In the beginning of his Hollywood career, Huffman acted in films like the drama "A Reason to Believe" (1995) with Allison Smith. Later, he earned a role in "Fled" (1996). He also starred in the TV movies "Asylum" (1996-97), "Perfect Crime" (USA, 1996-97) and "The Lottery" (NBC, 1996-97). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Orleans" (CBS, 1996-97). He held additional roles in television including a part on "Legacy" (UPN, 1998-99). He also was featured in the TV movies "Timepiece" (1996-97), "Miracle in the Woods" (CBS, 1997) and "The Hunley" (TNT, 1998-99). He also appeared in "The Tempest" (NBC, 1998-99). Most recently, Huffman wrote "Conviction" (Showtime, 2002-03).
