Katherine Webb

Katherine Webb is a model, commercial actress and television correspondent. In 2012, she won the crown of Miss Alabama and finished in the top 10 among all Miss USA contestants. Webb's profile unexpectedly spring-boarded on January 7, 2013 when she attended the BCS National Championship Game to watch her boyfriend, Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron. ESPN's cameras showed her repeatedly in the stands, and the announcer's on-air compliments about her beauty made her a viral sensation before the game had ended. Webb received multiple job offers soon after, and went on to cover Super Bowl XLVII for "Inside Edition" (CBS, 1988- ) less than a month later. She also appeared in the 2013 edition of Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue and did some salacious cheeseburger commercials for the Hardee's and Carl's Jr. restaurant chains. Soon after gaining unexpected celebrity, Webb used her business training in college to build her brand and diversify her career remarkably well.
