Ray Garvey was an actor who was no stranger to being featured in numerous film roles throughout his Hollywood career. Garvey began his acting career appearing mainly in films, such as the F. Murray Abraham comedy "Mighty Aphrodite" (1995), "Everyone Says I Love You" (1996) and "Deconstructing Harry" (1997). He kept working in film throughout the nineties, starring in the dramatic adaptation "The Devil's Advocate" (1997) with Keanu Reeves, the dramatic adaptation "Gloria" (1999) with Sharon Stone and "Sweet and Lowdown" (1999) with Sean Penn. He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-). In his more recent career, he tackled roles in "The Curse of the Jade Scorpion" (2001), the comedic drama "Hollywood Ending" (2002) with Isaac Mizrahi and the Woody Allen comedy "Anything Else" (2003). He also appeared in the romantic comedy "Just My Luck" (2006) with Lindsay Lohan. Most recently, Garvey acted in the Adam Sandler smash hit action-packed comedy "You Don't Mess With the Zohan" (2008).
