Rodney Bell was an accomplished actor who led an impressive career, primarily on the big screen. In his early acting career, Bell appeared in such films as "An Angel Comes to Brooklyn" (1945) with Kaye Dowd, "The Dark Mirror" (1946) with Olivia de Havilland and the musical "Meet Me After the Show" (1951) with Betty Grable. He also appeared in the drama "The Hitch-Hiker" (1953) with Edmond O'Brien and the Clifton Webb drama "Woman's World" (1954). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the dramatic adaptation "Trial" (1955) with Glenn Ford, the Kent Taylor horror film "The Phantom From 10,000 Leagues" (1956) and the dramatic adaptation "Missouri Traveler" (1958) with Brandon De Wilde. He also appeared in "Go Naked in the World" (1961). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "The Brothers" (CBS, 1956-58). Bell was most recently credited in "The FBI Under Fire" (2000-01). Bell passed away in August 1968 at the age of 53.
