Russell Horton was a big screen film actor known for powerful performances. Horton's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as the drama "Parades" (1972) with Russ Thacker, the comedy "Annie Hall" (1977) with Woody Allen and the comedic drama "Girlfriends" (1978) with Melanie Mayron. He also appeared in the Burt Reynolds comedy "Starting Over" (1979). He continued to act in productions like the Russ Thacker drama "The Line" (1980) and the drama "Windows" (1980) with Talia Shire. He also starred in the TV movies "Muggable Mary: Street Cop" (CBS, 1981-82) and "Finnegan Begin Again" (HBO, 1984-85). During the latter half of his career, he continued to act in the thrilling adaptation "Stephen King's Cat's Eye" (1985) with Drew Barrymore and "Bright Lights, Big City" (1988) with Michael J. Fox. He also was featured in the TV movie "Sentimental Journey" (CBS, 1984-85). Horton more recently acted on "Law & Order" (NBC, 1990-2010).
