Project Hail Mary (2026) 95% 4/5 EDIT “A heartfelt crowd-pleaser that makes me laugh and cry, featuring Gosling's career-best performance. Rocky is easily the scene stealer, props to creature designer Neal Scanlan for the adorable character design.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Mar 20, 2026 Full Review Tow (2025) 79% 2.5/5 EDIT “Byrne makes it watchable, but this poverty drama lacks authenticity and emotional impact. In the end, it leaves me feeling indifferent instead of inspired.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Mar 18, 2026 Full Review The Perfect Neighbor (2025) 99% 3.5/5 EDIT “A gut-wrenching documentary that feels like a real-life horror movie. The editing keeps the film engaging throughout, though the shaky-cam shots can be a bit dizzying for those prone to motion sickness.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Mar 12, 2026 Full Review Mr. Nobody Against Putin (2025) 100% 4/5 EDIT “Harrowing and deeply unsettling, but also quite funny at times. You can really feel Talankin's love for his country, Karabash, and the students. This film really gets you thinking about what it means to be patriotic” – FlixChatter Film Blog Mar 11, 2026 Full Review My Father's Shadow (2025) 97% 4/5 EDIT “An astounding directorial debut that’s wonderfully atmospheric and immersive. Sope Dirisu is magnetic in this indelible, poetic homage to an absent father and a once beleaguered nation. ” – FlixChatter Film Blog Mar 6, 2026 Full Review André Is an Idiot (2025) 96% 4/5 EDIT “A cheeky, imaginative, and relentlessly joyful film about finding humor during the darkest times. It's inspiring to witness someone so committed to facing death with such frankness, refusing to dwell in self-pity.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Mar 4, 2026 Full Review The President's Cake (2025) 99% 4.5/5 EDIT “A profoundly moving journey through the eyes of a 9-year-old Iraqi girl, and Nayyef is a revelation in the lead role. It’s really astounding what Hadi’s accomplished here with a limited budget and mostly unknown actors.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Feb 28, 2026 Full Review Solo Mio (2026) 83% 3/5 EDIT “James shows his softer side here, and the film is at its best when it focuses on his and Grimaudo's characters. This rom-com doesn't break new ground, but offers a cute little escape to the stunning eternal city.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Feb 23, 2026 Full Review Islands (2025) 94% 3/5 EDIT “Great to see the underrated Sam Riley in a meaty lead role. Marketed as a psychological thriller, it leans more towards a mystery drama that might seem uneventful at first, yet it stays with you long after the credits roll.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Feb 21, 2026 Full Review Crime 101 (2026) 88% 3.5/5 EDIT “The cast made this an entertaining heist flick that's unapologetically inspired by Michael Mann. Great to see Hemsworth & Ruffalo reunite in a good noir, and to see Berry in a role worthy of her talent.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Feb 19, 2026 Full Review Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die (2025) 82% 3.5/5 EDIT “Rockwell lets it rip in this wacky, chaotic anti-AI sci-fi satire. It's refreshing to see an original movie that at least attempts to offer something fresh, even if the ending is a bit underwhelming.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Feb 12, 2026 Full Review Scarlet (2025) 72% 3/5 EDIT “The visuals are impressive, even with the inconsistent animation styles, but the Hamlet-inspired story feels overly convoluted. Still, the message about a future free from violence is wonderfully uplifting.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Feb 10, 2026 Full Review The Wrecking Crew (2026) 74% 3/5 EDIT “Bautista & Momoa make for a fun duo, but the story is wholly unoriginal and packed with action-comedy clichés. The chase scenes are reminiscent of the Fast and Furious movies, with amped up violence and profanities.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Feb 3, 2026 Full Review Secret Mall Apartment (2024) 98% 4/5 EDIT “It’s art as a form of resistance, which is always a fascinating topic. You can’t help but be inspired by these artists’ inventiveness and amazing teamwork; there’s an underlying sense of mischief combined with rebellion against corporate greed.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Feb 3, 2026 Full Review H Is for Hawk (2025) 80% 3/5 EDIT “Claire Foy is always watchable in any role, but this grief drama is a bit plodding, preventing the film from soaring as high as it could be.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Jan 21, 2026 Full Review The Rip (2026) 79% 3/5 EDIT “While Carnahan’s writing and direction aren’t always firing on all cylinders, it does hit the mark at times. Having Damon and Affleck portray longtime friends whose trust and loyalties are put to the test works really well here.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Jan 20, 2026 Full Review Marty Supreme (2025) 93% 2.5/5 EDIT “Chalamet really gives his all in this role, but this is a frenetic, exasperating ride. Even though he's on screen for nearly the entire 2.5-hour runtime, we still don't learn much about Marty, and the female characters are even less developed.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Jan 15, 2026 Full Review Greenland 2: Migration (2026) 49% 2/5 EDIT “A drab and dull sequel that squanders its narrative potential, packed with cliched dialogue, lackluster action, and familiar apocalyptic scenarios. It also takes itself so seriously that it’s ironically comical.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Jan 9, 2026 Full Review Goodbye June (2025) 65% 3.5/5 EDIT “The plot might be predictable, and some scenes feel overly schmaltzy, but Winslet’s direction brings in some heartfelt surprises. Mirren and Flynn are the MVPs in this impressive cast.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Jan 8, 2026 Full Review The Chronology of Water (2025) 90% 3/5 EDIT “Stewart dives into a trippy and experimental vibe with her debut film. It can feel a bit choppy and disjointed at times, but Imogen Poots’ captivating performance truly brings the film together.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Jan 8, 2026 Full Review Father Mother Sister Brother (2025) 82% 3.5/6 EDIT “Jarmusch captures the reality that family dynamics can be awkward, sad, deceptive, and messy… the situations are familiar, but the stellar cast makes this triptych amusing to watch.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Jan 7, 2026 Full Review The Secret Agent (2025) 98% 4/5 EDIT “A tense, vivid, surreal journey during Brazil’s ‘time of mischief’ that makes one reflect on the weight of the past and the elusive nature of memory. Wagner Moura is absolutely magnetic in a restrained performance. ” – FlixChatter Film Blog Dec 31, 2025 Full Review David (2025) 78% 3/5 EDIT “Visually stunning with memorable songs, but the narrative takes too many creative liberties and tones down the warrior side of David. The production quality is definitely on par with animated films from big studios.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Dec 29, 2025 Full Review The Mastermind (2025) 90% 2.5/5 EDIT “The idea of an unconventional, minimalist heist film is intriguing, but this one tests my patience quite a bit, even with the immensely watchable O’Connor on screen for most of it.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Dec 22, 2025 Full Review Avatar: Fire and Ash (2025) 66% 2.5/5 EDIT “Not exactly a fresh chapter for Pandora, the visuals are still glorious, but the narrative is stuck in a loop. No matter how stunning the visuals are, the excessive 3+ hours of runtime to convey the same plot is absurd.” – FlixChatter Film Blog Dec 18, 2025 Full Review
