While it departs from the familiar Disney version, it remains grounded in the growing bond between Belle and the Beast. Léa Seydoux shines as a gentle yet quietly strong Belle, making her empathy-driven choices feel natural and earned. Vincent Cassel brings unexpected vulnerability to the Beast; even beneath heavy CGI, his voice and presence convey loneliness and humanity, lending sincerity to a romance that develops a bit quickly. The screenplay favors patience and emotional growth, allowing the relationship to form through shared moments rather than grand gestures. Though some backstory distracts from the central romance, the writing succeeds in presenting Belle and the Beast as fully realized characters rather than fairy-tale archetypes. They were not realist and very shallow. The rest was great! If you like this story, this movie is a must see! See more Giovana L @Giovana183 May 14 Este filme pode ser bom ou ruim dependendo do gosto de cada pessoa,se gosta de um filme com boa cenografia e figurino impecáveis, fantasia com uma pegada mais "dark",esse filme é perfeito. Mas se for focar no enredo ou ritmo do filme, vai se decepcionar. (Sem muito spoiler) Demora uns 25 minutos pra a primeira interação entre a Bela e a Fera,(o pai da Bela teve muito tempo de tela,WTF?!) além disso, cadê o romance? A Fera no final das contas era só um homem carente de afeto (o próprio diz isso),e a pobre Bela se apaixona por ele em 3 DIAS?! ela só o via durante os jantares, só discutia com ele,o menosprezava...certeza que ficou com ele só por pena,ou foi enfeitiçada pela ninfa morta, ou talvez seja síndrome de Estocolmo. A Bela deveria desenvolver uma conexão emocional com a Fera baseada em experiências compartilhadas e compreensão mútua...mas esquece,voce não verá isso aqui. Se o roteiro tivesse focado mais no desenvolvimento de atração entre os protagonistas ao invés de dar muito tempo de tela pra personagens secundários que são irrelevantes no final das contas (e nesse filme tem muitos), seria bem mais convincente.
