Audience Reviews for Gunslinger

Watching some of the old MST3K episodes available for streaming on Hulu and Netflix (there is a different random selection on each platform). Whether it is Joel or Mike watching these awful movies with the bots I do not envy their torture. Their snarky comments add some entertainment value, but my ratings are based on the movie's quality itself and not the commentary broadcast from the satellite of love. Promising concept of a woman taking her dead husband's Marshal badge and taking the reigns of law and order for the town in this Roger Corman flick. Unfortunately it is as dull and full of stereotypes as television westerns of the era. The plot is convoluted, but the terrible dialogue does a poor job of making the various threads clear. This did not hold my interest.

The plot of this movie may remind you of Johnny Guitar, but Corman has his own low budget style, and the actors are good in this movie, so I enjoyed it.
