John Form thinks he's found the perfect gift for his expectant wife, Mia: a vintage doll in a beautiful white dress. However, the couple's delight doesn't last long: One terrible night, devil worshipers invade their home and launch a violent attack against the couple. When the cultists try to summon a demon, they smear a bloody rune on the nursery wall and drip blood on Mia's doll, thereby turning the former object of beauty into a conduit for ultimate evil.

Annabelle does an admirable job of keeping tension high and the scares are legit. The two real issues I take with this film are the rather lackluster ending and the total lack of levity or humor.

This movie was an absolute terror-filled thrill ride! The tension, the suspense, and the vulnerability of the main character made this movie terrifying and awesome at the same time. I had so much fun watching this movie, and it's definitely one of the scariest movies I've ever seen. I definitely recommend it for horror, thriller, and paranormal fans, and for fans of The Conjuring series of movies!

Uma boa atmosfera,uma boa ideia,mais uma execução ruim,sinto que esse filme conseguiu ter sim,uns momentos tensos,mais não aquilo que realmente fosse dá um surto tão grande achei o terror bem fraquinho,mais boas atuações e um filme realmente chocante,mais faltou algo a mais.

The acting is decent, the soundtrack is ok. It starts off well enough but doesn’t go anywhere interesting. Certainly a few scares but the story wears thin around halfway through. Though it doesn’t have a long running time the film does start to drag just because the storyline is so tedious and uninspired: an utterly unoriginal a stack of horror cliches. The ending sucks and didn’t strike me as believable. Watch Annabelle: Creation instead, its far better.
