Baby turns out to be a real no-brainer. The movie even blows the one moment you'd assume couldn't fail -- the first sighting of a brontosaurus. Instead of a moment of quiet awe, the movie gives us the gee-whiz approach of a Godzilla remake.
Most of the budget of "Baby" seems to have gone into the creatures, who nevertheless don't look much better than Gumby.
Baby's faintly reptilian eyes are dead. And with them dies a lot of our belief.
Dopey entertainment for adults of all ages.
Director B.W.L. Norton surrounds the sweetness with a heavy, crude, and far too realistically rendered action plot that effectively cancels out whatever warmth the film manages to generate.
Though not as wonderful as it might have been, this film is a must for Disney fans. Typical of the studio's films, it tugs at your heart while making you laugh.
Even if your children like dinosaurs, don't let them be exposed to the offensive, insensitive, intolerably anti-humanist and racist propagandizing that is draped around them in this film. No plot, no heart, no soul.
Not much to say about this hackneyed jungle movie.
Sappy family stuff about a bland little dinosaur and his very boring keepers.
Here is a movie that made my Corny movie of the 80's list!
Super Cheesy animatronics represent a family of brontosaurus found in the deep African jungle. A married couple stumble upon them and want to keep them safe from some jackholes who want to capture them and exploit the poor animals and the St. Bernard size BABY Bronto.
Cutesy and Corney - it was the 80's what do you expect?
Some people find dinos living in the jungle. Simple story and lack luster effects make this an ok watch.
Remarkable technical know-how makes the creatures entirely credible in the 1980's and Baby B is quite irresistible!
