Maai K Oct 8 Claude Chabrol vibes throughout. A seemingly happy family conceals disturbing truths. See more 12/06/2011 Minor Chabrol thriller that starts out as a policier and ends up as a family melodrama, with almost the entire second half consisting of a flashback to a troubled teen romance. Of interest mainly because of the director's foray into English, though he doesn't seem comfortable outside his native France and the dialogue often feels stilted and like a poor translation. There are two fine cameos from Donald Pleasance and David Hemmings, but overall this is far from essential. See more 09/24/2011 It has two Donalds and whole bunch of blood relativing in it.
