Dull and depressing.
I love when quirky people find each other.
Geweldige film als je van eten houd!!
Charlotte Roche (best known for her scandalous novel "Wedlands" and her amazing skills as an interviewer) is a waitress, who starts an awkward relationship with a cook. It is all about the delicious food for her, but soon becomes more for the cook. He starts to fall for her and hell breaks loose when her husband finds out.
Sadly Charlotte's acting skills are not very brilliant, the story is predictable and boring and I couldn't believe that the dishes were terrific enough to cause all the troubles.
This movie reminded me of Sebastian and his Spaghetti Bolognese-surpise for his girlfriend:

Yo quiero cocinar asi...
The tale of a strained marriage, a fat chef & his orgasmic food. Not your average rom-com.
With the camera seductively capturing the glistening morsel from the first scene, to the wonderful performance of Ostendorf and Roche during their Tuesday night meetings, the film slacks a strong screenplay which takes audience member on a subtle emotional roller coaster.
Brilliant. Simple. Appetizing. Heartfelt. Awkward. Strangely humorous. Kinda like life. This film is the best 'slice of life' film that I've ever seen (with "Waitress" at a close second). Superbly shot, with a great story, unbelievably awesome acting, especially from the two leads, and even though the climax of the movie felt a bit strange, it really fit the tone and style of the film. See it. As in NOW.
Sinceramente el cocinero me daba miedo! Tenia toda la pinta de loco. Se hizo pesada en algunas partes, pero el final es lindo.
FANTASTIC GERMAN MOVIE ABOUT THE AMAZINGNESS OF FOOD! BLISSFUL! PASSIONATE & ADDICTIVE...CHOCOLATE COLA SAUCE...
