01/16/2015 A truly strange look at the behind the scenes heyday of one of the most disturbing S & M websites, which was eventually shut down by the Justice Department over obscenity charges. The interviews paint a very gray picture of models who are *not quite* forced to do things they're uncomfortable with, but the owner of the site is a guy who seems to have an attitude of "Hey, I'm paying you, I call the shots here..." so things get pretty vague, very fast. Worth a look for those with a strong constitution. Recommended. See more 03/27/2011 This is an interesting doc about a specific bondage/s&m website and the people who run and perform for it. Be warned that, as the title portends, you will be seeing some very graphic examples of the company's work within the documentary. I was fascinated by this film from a filmmaking perspective. I've never actually stopped to consider the workings of a porn shoot, at least not without just assuming it was like Boogie Nights. In any case, this is a very specific kind of pornography where large precautions must be taken in order to ensure that no one is actually seriously hurt and that, should the model wish to be freed, it is done so quickly. At first I was rather taken with this film because of the portrayal of those who partake in bondage and sub/dom relationships as normal. Many of the models are well-spoken and can eloquently express what draws them to be a submissive, just as the head of the company comes off as an unthreatening persona. As the doc continues, however, some of these lines become blurred and while I don't think it is an unfair depiction of this community, it does raise some questions about limitations and how to safely incorporate this sort of activity into a relationship or, as Insex did, in a business. Another question that comes up in this doc is the line between pornography and art. The founder of this website is portrayed as an auteur--in how he speaks, how elaborately he envisions his performances (and they are performances, although not faked in the least), and the kind of satisfaction he gets from it all. Of course, he also derives sexual pleasure from the process, as do the millions who access his site daily, and so its hard to consider what is seen on film as strictly art, although that's entirely up to the viewer to judge. Interesting, well-balanced and not overtly a shock doc despite its extreme content. See more 03/12/2011 Documentário bastante interessante sobre um site de bondage. Instead of denouncing the hardcore fetish site off the bat, it played the freedom of speech thing...and then ripped the guy who came up with the site a new asshole for being a tremendous prick.
