Armed with his guitar and an arsenal of peace-promoting songs, Michael Franti travels to Iraq and the Israeli occupied areas of Palestine to share his music and to show us sheltered people how real lives are affected by war. It's gut-wrenching (of course), but it is also very inspiring as we see that even people who have lost everything still have a glimmer of hope in their eyes and in their hearts.
