Movie Info

An epic voyage from the birthplace of Western civilization to contemporary France. Using evocative music and an uncommonly large aspect ratio, "Chronos" attempts nothing less than a high-scale history of a region of the earth. Time-lapse cinematography and even customized film techniques carry viewers through the ages and cover all the wonders -- human and natural -- the world has to offer.

Critic Reviews for Chronos: A Visual and Musical Journey Through Time

Meditative at times, fluid, like sand through an hourglass or clouds across the sky, then tedious at others. "Chronos" flows with music and images on the wings of time.

Audience Reviews for Chronos: A Visual and Musical Journey Through Time

Its cool looking and listening during the movie but it can get boring. Its an Art film but I think it goes far beyond to Artsy for me.

The Killing of a Chinese Bookie was a very good character study. I think the film focused a little too much on the skits at the strip club though. [img][/img] Chronos was ok, but I watched it when I was exhausted so I wasn't able to enjoy it as much as I would have. It was no where near Baraka though. [img][/img] I watched these before I came over to San Diego. It's been great so far. Weather is much better than Indiana's weather, and the zoo was a lot of fun. Also, I got to see first hand the problems in the housing market here. In Indiana people's houses aren't priced into the stratosphere like many of the places here. For instance, I walked through an open house here in a home that maybe would have gotten 60k in Indiana, but that same house in San Diego was 1.6 million dollars. My jaw hit the floor when I saw the pricetag. I would love to live here someday, but I have a feeling that I never will and with the state going bankrupt I don't know if it would be a good idea to live here in the coming years anyway. The food is also a lot better here than it is in Indiana. I'm all about food. Until next time....
