There are scares from the off in the short, punchy horror Lights Out, adapted by the director David F Sandberg from his short film. Go to Full Review

In its own deeply contrived way, the film is just as frightening as you want it to be. Go to Full Review

Martin P @endymetal 2d started strong but a disappointment after See more Loveine G @RT13402972 3d kept me on my toes the whole time. jumpscares made me shriek See more Leiya F @JustAMovieFan7 Jun 8 It was an okay movie. There were scary scenes and I enjoyed some of the characters but the directer never really gave me a reason to care if those characters died or not. It was one of those movies that probably would've done better longer and prolonged. I really like the idea of the movie and loving that they got it from a short filmed that scared the crap out of me. I just feel like they introduced cool things but never really used it in unique ways. See more James I @James66 May 7 the beginning was pretty scary but it gets very boring very quick See more Alexander T. @Mcjangles Feb 23 Absolutely terrifying, and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t scare easily. See more Thomas H. @Fr8ght_Trian Jan 25 Jump scare, the movie experience. This movie takes a creative 90 second short and stretches it into a 90 minute film. It does have enough solid creep factor and creative moments to be enjoyable. Also the characters are solid and not annoying which certainly helps out any horror movies. See more Read all reviews
