Never judge a movie by its DVD cover. That's about the only good thing about this film. I hate Troma. What fun is a bad movie if it's done so deliberately? It isn't.

It was really nice of that mental hospital to allow a patient, incarcerated because he killed three people, to allow him to make his own metal dentures. And it was also nice of the parole board to consider him perfectly healthy when he doesn't speak AT ALL, but just squawks like a chicken.

This might have worked if they had hired some folks who could act. Edward Terry is great as Luther, the REAL Mr. Chicken, but everybody else would benefit with a few acting lessons. But it is a Troma film and that's really all you need to know.

A man is let out of a mental hospital only to hold a young woman, her boyfriend and mother hostage in a secluded farmhouse. Doesn't sound very original. Except for the fact that said maniac wears metal dentures and....clucks like a chicken?? Luther The Geek is a very odd and intresting take on the slasher genre. If you could even call it a slasher flick. Bizarre film that the only reason one would like it is because it's so bizarre. Not for eveyone, but I must insist you stick around for the ending. It's a weird one.

Actually a decently made flick (distributed by Troma) but doesn't offer anything new (except Stacy Haiduk's luscious exposed breasts). Luther will have you sleeping with the chickens...errr fishes with boredom.

This belongs in the collection of anyone who call themselves a cult movie afficionado. One of the finest in Tromas catalogue. God bless Uncle Lloydie!

The characters in this are endlessly stupid. Especially the daughter. But especially the cop. Which just makes it all the more fun when they finally eat it. But really, for such a low-budget horror movie, the directing, the effects, and even the acting (especially Edward Terry's Luther) were very good. This among the best things I've seen the being distributed by the Troma team.

A boy watches a caged up geek eat chicken heads and suck the blood in hopes of receiving liquor. At some point in time, the boy gets a taste of the geekiness, kills people, and winds up imprisoned for 20 years. He gets released and starts killing again, first at the local Kroger grocery store and then on a farm, tormenting a mother, her college-age (and huge-tittied) daughter, her boyfriend, and various other characters, albeit, the whole time clucking like a chicken, never uttering an ounce of actual dialog. What follows is a very surprisingly little gem of a horror film. Much better than I could have imagined from a film that is brought to us from the lovely people at Troma. Luther the Geek takes some sappy and corny material and plays it straight, working very hard to try and chill the viewer. Good film.

Reasonably effective low budget horror, in the style of early Tobe Hooper.

This is such a solid 80's movie that was somehow made in the 90's..

So bad but oh so good!!!!

The cover looks way more awesome than the movie! It was okay though, a strange plot idea and has some good parts in it. Not as good as other troma movies, but if you're like me you need to see every shitty horror film ever...so you might as well see this one too!
