Movie Info

A remake of the 1938 film Three Blind Mice (and followed five years later by Three Little Girls in Blue), the story concerns two sisters from Texas (Betty Grable, Carole Landis) and their attempts to win husbands while in Florida. By posing as wealthy dowagers, they manage to hook a wealthy man (Robert Cummings) and a once-rich man (Don Ameche), but nevertheless find the devil in the details.

(This review is written from the point of view of a woman who lives in 1942) A Fine film! I enjoyed it very much! there's quite nothing like a Betty Grable picture! Real keen cast too! it's good to take your mind off the stressful things in life, you just sit back, relax and enjoy a fine picture!

a silly bit o'fluff with a few easily recognizable comic situations, a few musical numbers and a few laughs using a few popular miami beach location shots. i did enjoy the the cast's efforts and especially the sadly doomed carol landis...

Charlotte Greenwood steals the show with a wonderful supporting performance. Jack Haley is terrific as well. Great cast, good musical numbers, fun story, colorful and entertaining. What more could you ask for?
