When the combined stresses of motherhood, wifehood, and maintaining a successful career become too much to take, devoted yet overworked mom Alice McGrath (Molly Shannon) patricians her personalities in order to get through the day without suffering a complete mental breakdown. Keeping the boys content, nurturing her marriage, and remaining a successful environmental activist is more than a full-time job - it's a never-ending uphill battle.
