There will always only ever be one Richard Pryor, and his profoundly inspired performance shows exactly why.
A honestidade com que Pryor expõe seus demônios pessoais para consumo do público, utilizando o microfone não apenas para fazer humor mas também para a auto-análise, garantem a permanência deste filme entre os clássicos do gênero.
Pryor hits the comedy running and doesn't let up until he's exhausted the audience with so much gut-wrenching laughter that you won't know whether to stand up or lie down.
Funny, vulgar but Pryor in his prime comedy concert
Sheer, breathtaking brilliance. A must-see.
Pryor occasionally drops philosophical during this concert performance in 1982, particularly when recounting his experiences in Africa. The highlight is definitely his ability to find humor in telling the story of how he incinerated himself when freebasing coke and paints a scary/funny picture of the devilish power of addiction.
One of the best stand-up comedy movies/specials I've ever seen. Richard Pryor was hilarious, may he R.I.P.
Pryor was a comedy god.
