Skinwalkers is an atrociously-acted project whose unoriginal and ineptly-staged action sequences remind viewers of far better werewolf and action movies.

A throwback to workmanlike '70s and '80s-era low-budget action thrillers.
Skinwalkers is never able to escape its fundamental preposterousness. You've seen worse, but, trust me, you've seen better.
On the fright scale, this pack of werewolves ranks below a basket of puppies.
Yawningly directed by Jim Isaac, Skinwalkers is a slavering mess that buries its clunky addiction metaphor beneath a welter of genre clichés, all delivered in extra-slow motion.
The problem with most werewolf movies isn't that they're derivative, but that they're badly written, badly acted, or just plain silly. Skinwalkers hits the trifecta: all three apply.
The only thing more boring than a vampire with moral issues about biting people in the neck is a werewolf who'd rather become fully human than howl at the moon once a month.
Hackneyed horror pic.
It's obvious at times that Skinwalkers tries to emulate Kathryn Bigelow's awesome vampire western Near Dark, but without kickass character actors like Bill Paxton and Lance Henriksen onboard, it ain't the same.
in the absence of tension, laughs, thrills, scares or anything like complexity, there is nothing here for viewers to sink their fangs into. The only real note of menace...is a hint at the end that there may be a sequel.
stinks like a mangy animal's fetid coat
Even the special effects aren't very special.
Admittedly, there's something about a bunch of hot-looking Goth-type vampires on motorcycles that has, well, a little bite to it.
well it doesnt leave much to the imagination!!
its alrght movie with alright fight sequences but its just predictable and annoyingly boring in some places!
I love werewolf and vampire movies, my fav, but this is kind disappointing. The story is stretched, a boy must survive to his 12th or 13th birthday so he can 'cure' the werewolf curse, some want this some dont. But the ending makes this kinda unimportant seeing as its up to the individual werewolf wether he wants to be cured or not. The effects are Stan Winston so they're hot but nothing special, Im afraid there's just nothing new to do with vamps and werewolfs now, its all been done. This is very average really there's nothing outstanding and the cast is pretty mudane too.
A low budget werewolf film with a good idea but poor execution. The werewolves look quite odd and the plot is far too simple and obvious. Gingersnaps or Dog Soldiers are much better!
This werewolf movie is really average with much-needed makeover with the hair. It doesn?t make sense to me in the story of finding the cure belong to a 13-year-old boy so the different groups between good and bad Skinwalkers are fighting each other to protect or kill the innocent boy.
