Haley (Missy Peregrym) is a naturally gifted athlete but, with her social behavior, the teen seems intent on squandering her abilities. This is a fun movie. It won’t be critically acclaimed but it shows a niche sport like Gymnastics in a comedic yet important light. It’s a great movie to sit down and watch with someone. 7/10

After a run in with the law, a former gymnast is forced to return to the sport that everyone involved in hates her. This may not be the best movie in the world, but I would consider it a guilty pleasure to watch. There is some good acting from Missy Peregrym, Jeff Bridges and Vanessa Lengies. There are some cool cameos from gymnastics stars. There are also some cool visuals, like the main characters doing cartwheels and flips in prom dresses in a department store. There are also some great character moments, however, there are also some plot conveniences and forced moments that do not work. I would have liked to have had more visuals and commentary about the sport as well. If you are a fan of Missy Peregrym or love gymnastics, then this movie is worth a watch.

Stick it was a fairly good movie I would recommend to older gymnasts it was definitely not your average cringey gymnastics and as a teen gymnast I guarantee you will get a good laugh and and a whole lot of unique moments
