(This) movie more than delivers. It's a slow burn simmer of staged fisticuffs and amorous rebuffs.

Pretty dull and formulaic. Chiba is badass, and there is some fun violence and exploitative excess, but nothing to really hold your interest for the entire running time. Notable for Tarantino fans, who will recognize the Ezekiel 25:17 quote which originated with this film.

Pretty bad Kung Fu film. Sonny Chiba plays Sonny Chiba (good casting at least) who is a kickass bodyguard for a mafia drug witness or something. The script sucks pretty hard and the editing is mostly shit. The fight scenes are cool I guess, but it's hard to tell because the camera is so fucking terrible. The dubbing and dialogue is terrible and you'll probably ask "What the fuck is happening" five or six times a film. If you get the chance, fuck it. See The Streetfighter.

This is the worst Sonny Chiba movie ever! Chiba's dubbed voice was totally lame, there was a disappointing lack of action, and the plot was stupid even as far as Sonny Chiba/exploitation martial arts films go. If you are looking for a martial arts movie to watch, make it something else, like The Street Fighter or The Executioner (both starring Chiba).
