Audience Reviews for Tintin et le mystère de la Toison d'Or (Tintin and the Mystery of the Golden Fleece)

A 1961 family adventure film set in Greece and Turkey with Tintin, Snowy, Captain Haddock and an old boat. It wasn't based on any of the original Tintin books, but it could have been. Magic. Loved it.

It's my favorite Tintin live action movie so far! Jean-Pierre Talbot is Tintin! He even made his own stunts!! Also, the representations of Captain Haddock and Prof. Calculus were excellent! The film follows well the "rules" that govern Tintin's world! Dommage! It's only in French with no English subtitles. For those who learned basic French it is a good way to train your ears! But if you can find the Australian DVD, this one has the English subtitles though.
