Sam M. @RT71943576 11h One of the best films I’ve seen in my life. Very good mix of comedy and drama. Funny and thought provoking. The end was a good commentary on how quickly we’ll think about something else when something becomes uninteresting. This was one of Jim Carrey’s best roles ever and the way the movie was portrayed will have you questioning reality 😉. Past the jokes this films cinematography was creative and interesting with a way to make everything Truman sees a camera. The end was fabulous and was left up to interpretation (which I always like). I would highly recommend this movie to any fan of comedy or drama. Truman was very relatable which made the events of the film heartbreaking to watch. THIS FILM IS A MUST WATCH! There have been plenty of movies and tv shows that have tried this sort of thing and have failed terribly but this just nails it. It’s my all time favourite Jim Carrey movie and I genuinely think this is one of his best performances. But it’s not only him who nails his character, every person in this film does a great job. It’s not overly serious and yet it has moments where it blends serious scenes with comedy and it does it well because of the acting. If you haven’t seen this movie I heavily recommend watching it without any prior knowledge. How can an innocent, gorgeous movie like this be terrifying and even more terrifying than “Insidious chapter one” which I thought was the most terrifying movie ever until I watched this. But it’s a freaking masterpiece, the acting, the story, the cinematography, the chemistry, everything was a 10/10. But the ending oh my heavens the ending was so beautifully executed, and Jim carry gives us one of the greatest performances ever put together.
