MariofanAlex445 Mar 8 One of the strangest iterations of Romeo and Juliet I’ve ever seen lol. I really liked that ending though, that shootout was dope. No clue why death made a surprise appearance though? Maybe symbolism or something. Like their names no longer carry any burden, since everyone that led to this war in the first place is gone. They are free to live together. Kind of like the Graduate but if instead of them escaping a wedding on a bus, they escaped a shootout on a horse. This movie never really figured out its flow either, the scene where Lefty Higgins returned occurs one scene after he left. There was no time to miss him, it was just that fast. I don’t know, for what it was I definitely enjoyed myself. Is it a good movie though? Hell to the naw. I will leave you with my favorite line from the film though: “First off all, you gotta keep your pistol loaded all the time. Each bullet is worth a life, and if one is missing, it might be yours.”.
