06/24/2013 The style is very different from Indie Game: The Movie - it's much less polished - but there are a lot of good quotes, valuable shots and enjoyable moments in this doc. I felt like it said some things in a more interesting way, or presenting aspects of the work that Indie Game didn't. However the film is ultimately a lot of parts put together in a fairly haphazard way, so Indie Game is still a stronger movie. I really liked that they showed several women working on and playing games. I see the director of the film was also a woman. There was a bit more diversity in this film overall vs. Indie Game The Movie that I appreciated despite the film's shortcomings. See more Read all reviews
