This was a hilarious movie - a great sequel/revival of the Lampoon movies. Helms is great in a leading role this time around, and it was great to see Chevy Chase back!

Nostalgia redux ad infinitum isn't the accolade enough for watching this classic coming of age multiplex perspective of low brow pop culture. The effort success of soundtrack, recaptures the sign of the times for the original intent of activity in display of method actors and stereotype characters for socially conscious subject matter. My view of it, for the first time and with the multiple iterations of memories for the franchise; I am enthralled with so early a satiation of hitting their mark in full and post production cinematography science, thespian philosophy, and the score of musical composition to "das boot." Having broken thoust leg(Ze)(sic); Bravado (her/him/{Ze}) Bravada (he/she/{Ze}) etcetera etcetera etcetera.... EtCeTeRR-Ahh!

This is truly a great “comedy”. I laughed so hard I couldn’t stop. If you like Ed Helms from the hangover movies, you’ll love him in this role. Christina Applegate is the perfect actress to play off him. Great chemistry. The kids are so funny as well!! Simply put perfect casting. I love how they added Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo as well. Nice homage to past characters. The hits kept coming. Just got funnier and funnier. I didn’t want this movie to end. I don’t understand the low ratings by the critics and other users. Funniest film I’ve seen in years. ( and I watch a lot of movies ). I think it’s the best national lampoons film I’ve seen.

Another good light goofy movie before cancel culture hit the road !

This movie knows what it is and doesn't try to be more. I don't know why it got such a low score from everyone. They go on a vacation and everything goes wrong. It's fun. I also like that wife character isn't just boring and rolling her eyes at her zany husband. It's an improvement. Their family makes sense. I'm not sitting here wondering "why are these two married?"

Good if you know the "Vacation" movies (nostalgia/fan service) ok otherwise.

Shouldn’t have tried for a new version

Listen, it is what it is. I laughed and the cameos were fun.

My Gen X husband and I watched this movie last night and we could not stop laughing out loud throughout the entire movie. In fact, I woke up this morning and was still laughing. I have not laughed at a comedy in years, because most of the new ones are just lame and unfunny. It saddens me how uptight people are these days. No one has a sense of humor anymore. People are just offended by absolutely everything and anything. Lighten up, people! The world sucks right now. You might as well have some laughs before the earth explodes.

This movie was crude, vulgar and absolutely hilarious. Critics need to lighten up and laugh once in awhile

Don't care what others say, this is a classic! It's better than the original. Ed Helms is a terrific comic as is Christina Applegate. There are so many one-liners, pratfalls and situational comedy that I laughed a LOT during this flick. Not for the easily-offended.

For people who like a mixture of humor and a bit of profanity. A typical family going on vacation that will be the first to break out of the routine. What can go wrong? One think. You will laugh so much, that your jaw will hurt and fall off its hinges. In one word: watch it!

This movie does culminate in fun at Wally World at the end of Misadventures, however it's crude and not fun at all!!
