Although Quinn may strike some viewers as more annoying narcissist than self-deprecating charmer, he's a vivid creation.
This derivative comedy, in addition to not being particularly funny, gives off a sense of telling us more than we needed to know.
[A] Woody Allen-lite comedy ...
The danger in writing, directing, producing and casting yourself in the same movie is that there's no one to pull you back from the cliff.
Throughout, Helberg's awkward-anxious routine proves insufferable ...
A sporadically amusing, more often grating romantic comedy.
A fantastically clever script with fun performances from the entire cast, especially leads Simon Helberg, Melanie Lynskey and Maggie Grace.
I highly recommend it for its superb cast, brilliantly told story and charming lead.
The nebbishness is spot on, but it lacks vintage Woody Allen's charm and humour.
This lacklustre romantic comedy seems a little like a lost episode in the life of Helberg's Big Bang Theory character, Howard Wolowitz.
Confident and very funny, We'll Never Have Paris paints a perfect example of why relationships are never black and white.
Uninspired romcom has some racy scenes, drinking, language.
It's not that this is that bad - it is well made and the acting is good. It's just that the guy was insufferable. I get that that's the point, but it didn't make for good viewing. I was actually hoping she would turn him down because he was just that annoying.
A few people have made the remark he's a Woody Allen wannabe and I think it's a fair comment.
I didn't buy into two hot blondes finding him irresistible. I mean come on. Devon okay, she's kind of an average girl, but honestly even she could have done better.
Well I stuck through it and not sure I didn't waste my time totally, but once was definitely enough for this one.
