Movie Info

Upon his arrival at the fabled military academy, Brice Wayne alienates everyone with his wise-guy attitude. Only heroine Betty Channing sees any good in the boy, but even she gives up on him when his egotistical antics cause the West Point football team to lose a crucial game.

Audience Reviews for West Point

Worth catching only for an early glimpse of Joan just before she broke through to full fledged stardom but that's about it. Haines is beyond irksome in his smug self assurance. He stepped away voluntarily from his screen career but it's hard to believe he would have been able to continue very successfully once sound came in. His glad handing jerk is hard enough silently with dialogue he would have been completely insufferable.

Starts out brightly, then disintegrates into the usual college-football antics and mushy sentimentality.
