Porque ese es uno de sus problemas principales, la grandilocuencia, los super efectos especiales, el elenco gigante multi racial que habla en varios idiomas, las múltiples sub tramas que algunas directamente no llevan a ningún lado, todo pero absolutamente todo corren el foco de lo que si funciono en el proyecto que estaban emulando: la simpleza, el lado humano, el suspenso y el aura de misterio bien implementados. Si el lado humano esta muy mal representado, si ningún personaje te genera empatía es que algo esta muy mal hecho. Porque además esta serie lucha en todo momento en ser misteriosa y sorprender pero al segundo capitulo tire, casi en tono de broma y sin querer "no será una simulación onda matrix?" y ver que iban predeciblemente a ese lugar no le hizo ningún favor. Y así transcurrió casi toda la temporada, lenta y predecible llevándome adonde ya sabia que iba a ir sin nada para destacar excepto su (intento) de complejidad. Sin enganche. Sin rimbombancia. You have to have knowledge of several languages to enjoy it, otherwise it is a lot ob subtitle reading which diminushes the viewing experience. The plot was slightly too complex for an easy understanding. I'd qualify it as material for ambitioned viewers with a faible for complexity, not material for usual binge watchers who do not want to overheat their brain while watching.
