A 5 star series all the way - Rural occupied villages were seldom the focus of books or movies, this was a well written, well acted and well directed series. as American, we have our own narrative, and it's interesting to see this historic time and place from the perspective of those who live there. I did appreciate that the series producers don't leave you hanging. They wrapped-up the series with follow-ups of the main characters lives. I liked this series so much, that I didn't even mind the sub-titles.

Entertaining. This season seemed like writers were rushed to end the series. A bit preachy all season. The Nazis were portrayed in a more favorable light than the Americans, gum chewing, arrogant, extortionist, rapist, pretty unessential late comers to the war. Good acting though and compelling story line other than the stereotypes.
