A four-part docu-series "Action" takes a look at the legalization of once-taboo sports gambling. "Action" chronicles the lives of professional gamblers, oddsmakers, and bookies throughout the 2018 NFL season. The Supreme Court lifted the ban on sports betting, allowing anyone to partake in the biggest gambling day of the year -- Super Bowl Sunday. Stephen Espinoza of Showtime Networks Inc. says, "Through the lens of industry professionals and real-life gamblers within every virtual layer of the business -- both legal and illegal -- "Action" delivers a one-of-a-kind look as sports gambling enters a brave new world."
