Nate Berkus hosts as two teams of the country's top designers, builders, architects and landscapers tackle challenging home renovations. Nate and a panel of judges decide which team does the best job, and the losing team must choose a team member to send home. In the end, two competitors remain and each designs and renovates a home on his or her own, with the viewers at home choosing the winner. Two lucky viewers become the proud owners of the renovated homes, which are given away live during the finale.
