Tv Season Info

Season 3 of the animated misadventures of CIA operative Stan Smith and his family kicks off with Francine demanding that Stan take the family on a vacation after she learns all of their previous vacations never actually happened: The CIA had planted artificial memories of the "vacations" in their brains so Stan could ditch them. Other notable outings feature Stan praying for a friend and having one provided: a guy named Brett (voice of Jay Thomas) who's like him in every way but one---he's an atheist. So Stan has some evangelizing to do; and with Francine out of town, Roger takes the opportunity to host spring break at the Smith house for visiting college students, one of whom becomes the straying Stan's "spring-break buddy."

...simply OK and not especially funny. When you know how high the standards can be, it's desperately disappointing.

As it stands though, I only laughed half the time. They were hearty laughs, but failed to offset the other hours of squirming in my seat and the silence and blank expression on my face.

With more memorable episodes, funnier gags and writing that fully finishes its beard-growing by this point, American Dad!'s third season just might be the best one yet.

Oh American Dad, how i enjoy watching you. Season 4 is in my opinion, one of the best seasons of American Dad, making me burst out laughing in every episode, which doesn't happen much. From the first to the last, every episode has the dark humor l love.
