Brooklyn native Shannon Ambrosio is one of the top barbecue chefs in New York, and now he's hitting the road to test his Northeastern barbecue skills against pitmasters across the country. Will Ambrosio's chops stack up against the cooks who have their own methods of barbecuing in regions famous for the cooking style, including Kansas City, Mo., and Memphis, Tenn. Shannon and his crew have to impress the judges with their New York spin on traditional barbecue for him to be able to beat the other competitors on their home turf.
