Grahame F @RT35983702 Aug 5 This has got to be one of the worst police dramas ever. No issues with the acting but the police force portrayed in the series is sloppy and incestuous. The end, when you finally get to it, is both far-fetched and predictable. Is it watchable? Yes, to a degree, in part to see how something so awful manages to resolve. Some reviews speak of character development, but this only applies sparingly, as in the minor character of the minister. The story has left a couple of questions unanswered that will carry it over into the next series. The main redeeming features are the bleak Icelandic terrain and sense of folksy remoteness. But this isn't enough. The next series cannot be as slow-going and implausible as the first. A good plot that could have been a great series, the writers need to research the way the police perform and carry out their duties. Or is it the norm for Iceland, I certainly hope not. Could have been made into a tight 6 part series . Sex scenes were laboured . Worst police I have ever seen Anita was so bad she should be sacked !
