Dana Cody, owner of Miami's Tippie Toes Beauty Lounge, is trying to continue a legacy begun by her mother by creating one-of-a-kind nail art for her unique and demanding clients. "Boss Nails" follows Cody's day-to-day activities as a no-nonsense boss to her eccentric staff, which includes cousin Paige, opinionated Yaya and resident troublemaker Rod. Cody is determined to fulfill her mother's dream by expanding her business beyond Miami, following the formula that she thinks will bring success: set the trends instead of following them.
